Levante UD TV [Now in English]

Notapor GranotaDean » Vie Feb 04, 2011 5:51 am

This thread is for all the great videos posted on Levante's official channel.

*The clips are all in Spanish (I will provide translations from time to time) and show some behind the scenes looks at the club, the stadium, the practice facilities, and all the in's-and-outs of Valencia's oldest club!!!
They are worth a look even if you don't speak Spanish :-D

The Club's 2010-11 Season Commercial:
"How great it is to be little!"

(TRANSLATION)Narrator: Some believe that football is only a battle between two rivals, for a GRANOTA (Levante supporter) football is much more. We don't support the team that always wins, but rather the team that most needs are support. We take life by another way: Ties are ALMOST victories and Victories are like TOUCHING THE SKY! We celebrate promotions as if they were World Cups. While others celebrate 6 trophies in one year, we have the lowest club budget of any team in the first division! This is why we don't sign players with Golden Balls, we sign players with balls, capable of defending our colors against any enemy. And what to say about our stadium? They'll say its small, but we live first division football closer than anyone! Being a GRANOTA is above all suffering, suffering, and suffering (and having a good time as well) and proving wrong those who say that "everything that goes up, must come down", and FIGHT to show the WORLD, how great it is to be a little club!!!

Levante vs. Almeria: The Levante Fans in Full Force!

This video from the team Channel shows Levante fans coming together hours before the game against Almeria. Fans made a human chain around the stadium and sang for the club throughout the game. Yet another demonstration of the fact that while Levante may not have the MOST fans, they certainly have a stake for the BEST fans! (H)

The Club's 2011-12 Season Commercial:
"How great it is to be little!"

The Club recently released their promotional advertisement for the upcoming season. This year´s commercial takes after the previous season´s when the club returned to the First Division. However, this year´s remembers some of the great moments from LAST season, and looks forward hopefully and full of anticipation to the 2011-12 campaign. Don´t miss it!

Apparently, Levante has a translator working with them now. He helped El Zhar translate at his presentation in El Ciutat, and now they have him doing videos for the club. He stole my dream job! :-(

I don´t know if this is a long term or short term thing, but at any rate, enjoy this English Video! Jacob, the translator, talks with El Zhar and you get to see a good bit of the stadium and lockerrooms.
