Sir Alex Ferguson has denied reports in the Spanish press that Diego Forlan is poised to make a loan move to newly-promoted La Liga side Levante.

Forlan's future at Old Trafford has come under the microscope this summer after Ferguson signed Louis Saha in January and Alan Smith early in the close-season.

Levante have indicated Forlan is La Liga bound. But the Uruguayan striker, who played in United's friendly win over PSV on Tuesday night, is going nowhere according to Ferguson.

"I'm sure they are interested but they will not be getting him," he said in a post-match press conference.

Sir Alex Ferguson said recently that he was glad to return to having four strikers in his squad; naming Ruud van Nistelrooy, Louis Saha, Alan Smith and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as his favoured four.

However, with Solskjaer out for up to three months, Forlan could now make up the four forwards Ferguson wants for the new season.

Saludos a todos - soy aficionado ingles de Manchester United de la web de unitedonline.

No parece que Diego Forlan nos va a quitar. Hay un herido de Nistelrooy y solo tenemos Smith y Saha como delanteros si Forlan se vaya. Forlan ha dicho que es su intencion de quedarse en Manchester y que no quiere firmar con otro equipo.

Hablamos mucho de Rooney en este momento y es posible que se convertira en jugador de Manchester en enero. Vamos a ver... Pero si firma en enero seria mas posible que Forlan negociara un traspaso.

Hace mucho tiempo que escribo en espanol - espero que habeis entendido lo que quireo decir.......
