VIAJE A MOTHERWELL 23/8
-

Hi Everyone - Motherwell fan here - my apologies for typing in English
I am really looking forward to visiting your beautiful city for the game and just wanted to give a small travel tip. Motherwell is the same distance from Edinburgh as it is from Glasgow - so don't forget Edinburgh airport when searching for flights. By flying to Barcelona from Edinburgh with Ryanair (via Paris in the outward direction), I was able to get flights for around €160 - and the whole trip including trains and decent hotels was done for less than €300. Glasgow also has two airports close to it - Glasgow International (GLA) and Prestwick (PIK) where lots of low cost airlines fly to.
Secondly, without being too critical of my home area, Motherwell is not an attractive place for visitors - so plan to stay in Glasgow or Edinburgh and visit Motherwell for cerveza and futbal Both Cities have direct rail links to Motherwell - although it is tricky to get back to Edinburgh by public transport after the game (it is possible and I can advise how).
If I can offer any advice about your trip , please let me know. I hope many of you can visit for your first away game in Europe - it only happens once (I had to go to Poland in 1991 for our first game )
