SPANISH EYES ON BAIRNS ACE ALAN
Levante to swoop for Gow
Exclusive by Gordon Parks
ALAN GOW is poised for a sensational switch from Falkirk to Spanish side Levante.Record Sport understands Gow, left, has been watched by the La Liga outfit several times and an approach will be made in the January transfer window.
Ipswich and Bristol City are among a host of English sides tracking the striker, who looks certain to reject an offer of an extension with the Bairns.
However, it's understood Spain is Gow's preferred destination. Levante enquired about the 24-year-old before he moved from Airdrie to Falkirk 18 months ago.
Falkirk's latest offer fell well short of what would be required to keep Gow.
His current deal ends in summer and he will be free to speak with other clubs from January. Agent Phil McTaggart will meet Falkirk managing director George Craig tomorrow.
